Our team is led by Michael Sugrue, a creative force and member of the Director's Guild of America, with over a decade of experience delivering integrated campaigns for global brands. Michael has lead teams in Silicon Valley and Europe for Visa, Airbnb and most recently Omnipresent, among others. His strategic brand-forward approach continues to elevate each of the companies he’s work with.



Michael has a wealth of marketing and production experience, having directed television commercials on four continents for brands including Audi, Nike and LinkedIn.
David Vespremi

A Silicon Valley veteran, David Vespremi has found himself in the right place at the right time, driving a number of key industry transformations along the way. He was the Director of Communications for Tesla Motors at launch, helping to put Tesla on the map. More recently, he helped launch Vonnen, a leading-edge performance hybridization company, garnering international press and a Best of What's New Award from Popular Science.

David followed this up by serving as Head of Global Communications for Neato Robotics, an early innovation in LiDAR enabled consumer robotics.

He has a deep understanding of, and a robust professional network in, forward-thinking automotive technology, robotics, and AI.

Lauren Mellman

Lauren’s a digital media and marketing whiz who helps companies grow. She's working alongside Mayrose founder Michael Sugrue to build and expand the company.

Before this, she worked at PUSH LIVE enhancing live digital experiences. At The Smalls, she led international strategies and landed big clients like WPP, Deliveroo, Vodafone, Netflix, and Google.

Lauren’s also had roles at Adobe and The Guardian’s Guardian Labs.
Kelley Robins Hicks
Head of Production

Kelley's a multi-talented film and TV producer known for bringing unique stories to life.

Some of her notable projects include “Queen of Glory” (Independent Spirit Award nominee), “Space Jam: A New Legacy”, “Random Acts of Flyness” (Peabody Award), and “How to Tell You’re a Douchebag” (featured at Sundance).

She’s also worked as a producer for clients like Samsung, YouTube, Playboy, and Montblanc.
Marty Martinez

Marty started his career developing film concepts and trailers for Hollywood studios, eventually found himself on reality TV *yikes*, and has since found refuge in storytelling that gets to the heart of the human element.

He’s driven by a deep curiosity for just about everything, and seeks to capture resonant stories that revolve around the human condition and our relationship with the spaces in which we find ourselves intertwined.

He’s also a pretty cool dad of three, an avid gardener, an obsessive traveler, and a wannabe vegan chef.

Most recently and prior to joining Mayrose, David spent over a decade consulting for a multitude of strategic and creative agencies, in addition to film and content production companies.
